The Asus M70AD has been unveiled for those who wish to have a desktop that can wirelessly be connected to various mobile devices. This system boasts of the NFC functionality and brings a keyboard and a mouse along.
Based on the Windows 8 64-bit OS, the computer is powered by the latest generation Intel Core processor. The Intel H81 chipset has been deployed in it in addition to Nvidia GeForce GT630 GPU for an enhanced graphics performance. Also, the system has been deployed with 4GB of dual channel DDR3 RAM as well as a 500GB SATA hard drive.
All the common connectivity ports including USB, both 3.0 and 2.0 versions, HDMI, headphone and microphone jacks, a 16 in 1 card reader, RJ45 LAN and more have been carved on the front and rear panels of the Asus M70AD. And as far as wireless communication is concerned, it can be carried out using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or NFC.
You can not only connect your mobile devices with the desktop using NFC, but also charge the latter wirelessly. The system has been loaded with UPS so that it works even if there’s a power outage. Its multimedia features include MaxxAudio, Asus Sonic Master and AudioWizard amongst others.
The Asus M70AD NFC-enabled desktop has been priced at Rs 62,000 in India and it has a 3-year warranty.
