The Moto G8 Power Lite, the awkwardly named 2-day battery life smartphone from Motorola, is all set to hit Flipkart on May 21, as a teaser page on the website has confirmed. The price of this phone hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we do know its European pricing to be EUR 169, which roughly translates to around Rs 14000. So it’s safe to say that the device will grab a pretty affordable price tag in India.
As you would predict by looking at that the price, the Moto G8 Power Lite isn’t pretty well endowed in the specifications department. It adopts the MediaTek Helio P35 processor that’s paired with 4GB of RAM. As for storage, 64GB is the only choice, but you do get a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the space up to 256GB more.
The Moto G8 Power Lite adopts a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. This display gets a waterdrop style notch to accommodate the phone’s front camera. A triple rear camera setup makes its way on to the back surface of this phone. It includes a 16MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the front camera, it’s an 8MP unit.
But the phone’s biggest draw remains its 5000mAh battery that guarantees 2-day usage. However, there’s no fast charging support here. Other highlights of the Moto G8 Power Lite include a water-repellant coating that gives it protection from light splashes of water. It also grabs a fingerprint scanner that’s placed on its rear surface beside the triple camera system.
May 21 is when we’ll get to know the price of the Moto G8 Power Lite in India. It will be sold in the country via Flipkart.
