The LG Chromebase has finally made its way into India which is yet to show much interest in Google’s Chrome OS. This release is the first AIO with the search giant’s desktop platform to go on sale in the country and unlike its laptop siblings, the price attached is quite steep.
You’ll have to shell out Rs 32000 for the LG Chromebase which delivers some pretty great features. The main downside of the desktop is its processing power. The dual core Intel Celeron 2955U CPU isn’t the fastest on the market, but it’s enough to deliver a smooth experience on the Chrome OS.
To top it off, the PC can boot up from the cold in just about 7 seconds which is pretty impressive. The clean and clutter-free Chrome OS UI is portrayed through a 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080p IPS LCD panel which sadly, doesn’t have touch support, but is accompanied by a wired keyboard and mouse.

Like the majority of Chrome-powered devices, this one comes with basic memory provisions. You get only 2GB of RAM and a mere 16GB of SSD storage. On the upside, Google is providing 100GB of free Drive space for 2-years and there are USB ports for attaching peripherals including storage devices.
