The LG G Pad 8.0 with 3G connectivity is soon to be made available for purchase in India as the device has been officially listed on the company’s website. A price of Rs 21000 has also been affixed to the slate, but there’s still no word on when it will be put up for grabs.
The LG G Pad 8.0 isn’t really a new tablet. Its Wi-Fi version has been on sale in India since last month and the device was originally launched almost a year back. So basically, it’s quite late to the market and also selling for more than what you’d expect. The addition of 3G connectivity makes the device more versatile, but you will not be able to use it for making voice calls.
The main purpose for cellular support is for data use only. Nevertheless, you can still connect the LG device to a smartphone via QPair 2.0 and not only make and receive calls, but also send text messages and more. The tablet even features Knock Code for better security and Dual Windows for running two applications simultaneously in a split-screen interface.
