The OnePlus 8 Pro is all set to go on sale on June 15, along with its non-Pro model. This will be the first time that the beefier model will be on sale in India, while the regular variant has already had a couple of sales before this. The delay in the arrival of the 8 Pro is apparently the result of the sudden suspension of an Oppo manufacturing plant in Greater Noida last month as a few workers from the facility had tested positive for COVID-19. The company has cleared that both the phones will be available through limited sales on both Mondays and Thursdays.
Both Amazon and OnePlus.net will be selling the phones starting Monday. Plus, some locations in the country also qualify for offline sales through OnePlus Experience Stores, partner stores, and other offline retailers. And those with pop-up box invite codes can now start redeeming them codes on the OnePlus site.
In case you need a refresher, the OnePlus 8 Pro starts at Rs. 54,999, which is the price for its 8GB RAM model that comes with 128GB of storage. The 12GB RAM version with 256GB of storage costs Rs. 59,999. The OnePlus 8 on the other hand, is available in three versions. The first one has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and costs Rs. 41,999. The one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage comes with Rs. 49,999, whereas the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs. 49,999.
A report suggests that both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro will be eligible for a Rs. 2,000 discount for those using SBI cards. Also, Rs. 1,000 cashback on Amazon Pay and Jio benefits of up to Rs. 6,000 are also apparently on the cards.
